By my bed in my summer bedroom I dress watching evening dust caught in my window. Green, silver and gold, I can see the sea world garden in the evening light on the other side of the glass, but here, thick with evening dust, the water of my bedroom holds a finer silt. In this light I can see sea worlds and precious sea constellations circling just to the door. A jam jar held underwater. All worlds are moving. Longing to contain and preserve desire. A sea creature cat joins me on my seabed and now I will finish dressing, leave and go out into the evening.
